When you shop and deal with "The Evening Rise" customers can expect a full menu of special services in every department of the store. We feel that customer service is the most important part of our business. Listed below are the services we provide everyday at the shop. We encourage our customers to call or stop in the store and use our special services. Most clients have a particular need in mind when making purchases. We strive to make your purchases the correct one for your particular need.

Tackle Services

Purchasing Rod, Reels and Outfits: Outfitting you for your specific needs, making sure that the rod matches or enhances your casting skills. We offer clients to test cast all rods before purchase. Demo outfits are available to use for a day or two for clients to try out rods. These services will help you make an educated buy!

Line Rigging Services

Since our beginning, Line rigging services continue to be one of our most sought after services from our clients. Line rigging is an important part of any clients fly rod outfit. We will be glad to consult clients on proper line rigging. We perform all line rigging services here at the shop and our staff is experienced in all phases of line rigging from Bluegills and Brook Trout to Bluefin Tuna, Tarpon and other big game species. Fly line recommendations is another important part of line rigging. Using the correct line for your method of fly fishing is critical to you success. Please feel free to use our line services to improve your success.

Fly Tying Demo Services

All of our staff are fly tiers and enjoy educating customers on current and new fly tying tools, materials and techniques. When you stop in for materials, feel free to ask questions about patterns you wish to tie. We will gladly help you with anything. New fly tiers and store tying class students are welcome to stop in for help if needed. Looking for a new fly tying vise? We invite you to stop in and try any of our vises here at the store.

We have a full fly tying desk at your disposal.

Custom Fly Tying Services

We carry a complete selection of top quality flies but from time to time clients have special needs for special flies. Contact us if your going on a trip and need flies that we do not stock. We will be glad to tie any flies you might need. Please allow ample time to fill a custom order. We will need 2-3 weeks lead time to fill such orders.

Wader Repair and Fitting Services

We are currently handling simple puncture wader repairs here at the shop. If your waders leak please bring your waders in for evaluation. If your waders require a more complex repair, we will ship to the manufacturer if needed. Repairs are subject to wader repair and UPS shipping charges as needed. Stop by the shop and be fitted properly with our complete line of breathable waders from SIMMS, ORVIS AND PATAGONIA!

Rod and Reel Repair Services

We encourage customers to use our resources for rod and reel repairs. Most rod repairs will need to be sent back to the manufacturer for component replacement and repair. All rod repairs are subject to a shipping and handling fee of $20.00 when dropped off at the shop plus a manufacturers fee when returned. Customers will be notified of manufacturers fee due at time of rod pick-up.

Phone Orders, Custom Orders and Drop Ship Services

Clients may call or email orders to their home or office. We ship most products via UPS Ground from the store. Order of $150.00 or more are shipped FREE UPS GROUND SHIPPING. Orders less than $ 150.00 net will be charged a UPS Fee of $7.95 unless otherwise stated. Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards are accepted. PAY-PAL online payments are also accepted.

In a specialty store such as "The Evening Rise" clients have special needs. If you can't find what you need we will gladly order merchandise for you! We offer a custom order service that customers find convenient. Place any Catalog Order from ORVIS, PATAGONIA or any other manufacturer, pay no *shipping charges and pick-up your order at the shop. Returns and exchanges may also be made at the shop! Drop ship orders (orders shipped directly to your door from the manufacturer) are charged a nominal UPS shipping fee of $7.95 per order. Drop Ship Orders and Orders Shipped from the Store are shipped Free UPS Ground with an order totaling $150.00 dollars or more net. Out of state orders are PA Sales Tax Free!

*UPS Ground Shipping; Rush orders such as 1-3 Day Shipping are subject to an additional shipping fee of $10-15 dollars.
