The Evening Rise mission statement is what personal service is all about. That being said, there are times when the best way to learn is one on one with an instructor. For those of you who would like serious personal instruction, the opportunity is here with our personal instruction classes. Most of our personal instruction classes are set up for a minimum time of one, two hour session. Topics of our classes can range from basic fly fishing, casting, fly tying and rod building to advanced specialized courses.

Our personal instruction classes are held at the shop and on the water for the optimum experience. Our personal instruction classes are priced fairly and promise to be a wonderful learning experience. All classes are by appointment only, in order to fit your time schedule. Please call the shop and talk to Nick DelleDonne nick@theeveningrise.com to inquire or schedule a class. Classes will vary in session time and frequency depending on the course topic. Personal classes are designed for 1 person; however we can accommodate 2 for an additional $20 per session.

Basic Fly Casting for the Beginner (Recommend 2 Sessions)

Intermediate Fly Casting: Improving Line Speed, Accuracy and Distance (Recommend 1-2 Sessions)

Advanced Fly Casting: Getting Ready for Saltwater Fly Fishing, Saltwater Flats Prep Class

(Casting, Fighting Fish, Knots/Rigging, Fly Selection (3 hour session $150.00)

1 Hour Casting Class with Sage Casting Analysis: $65.00

Personal Instruction Classes: Tackle Craft (Requires 1-2 Sessions)

Leader Building, Knot Tying and Line Rigging

Personal Instruction Classes: One Day Fly Fishing School (On Stream Class or Custom Oriented Class)

(Requires One 8 Hour Session: $ 300.00 for One Person; $ 395.00 for Two)

Learn the Basics of Fly Fishing with this One Day Class. The class will take place at a local stream of choice.

Group Fly Fishing Schools

Personal Instruction Appointments and Policy: Clients who would like to schedule classes must do so by telephone, email or in person at the store. All classes must be scheduled and paid in advance of class. Classes that are scheduled and paid are non-refundable. Students who choose to cancel a class may re-schedule up to two months following the original class or forfeit the class fee. Instructors have the right to cancel class with advance notice, and classes will be re-scheduled at the first opportunity. Class Fees are subject to change without notice. Fees paid in advance (Gift Certificates) will hold for 6 months from original date of issue, after which fees may be subject to rate increases.

**Fees include personal instruction only. Students are subject to additional charges for equipment rentals, fly tying material purchases for all tying classes and materials for rod building and knot tying classes.
