These rods are the finest fishing tools that the Orvis company has ever produced! This was our initial reaction after casting the Orvis Zero Gravity Fly Rods in September 2005. At first glance the rods are handsomely designed featuring the finest components made in the USA. The quality of workmanship was another pleasant surprise. The guide wraps are perfectly wound with a beautiful finish. Lightweight, slim blank profile and superior balance were just some of the outstanding attributes that are by design from the Orvis Company. Most importantly the casting of this fly rod puts it over the top with dealers, guides and customers alike! Rods 4-6 weight come in a handsome freshwater up-locking reel seat with a beautiful custom cork grip. Rods 6-9 weight come with a one of a kind up-locking saltwater reel seat that is most impressive.
