Nonnemacher cane rods use only the best of the best. For each commission,
Nonnemacher draws from an inventory of over 2000 hand-picked culms selected for
optimum power fiber content and aged for a minimum of five years. The features
of each fly-rod are tailored to the preferences of the owner. Whether you favor
6' or 9', traditional slow, contemporary medium, medium fast or anything in between, these and
other attributes are crafted to order.

Hand Crafted Fly Rods
Nonnemacher Rods offer a wide variety of custom cane
rods for the discriminating angler. Their specialty is unique medium and medium
fast tapers with wonderful swelled cane butt sections that load and unload
smoothly with long and short lengths of line. Nonnemacher multi-piece cane
models of 3 and 4 piece are true works of art and are surprisingly lightweight
which makes them a staff favorite. The Nonnemacher signature finish is the
absolute best we have seen in cosmetics and durability and will give years of
fishing pleasure. Nonnemacher cane is available in your choice of line weights
and lengths made to order. Listed cane models represent the most popular models
to date. Please inquire about other models. Rod cosmetics are available in the
classic browntone or flamed tiger striped finish. Reel seat configurations
include nickel-silver components in up or down locking styles (clear n-silver or
dark-blued finish) with a variety of beautifully figured hardwood seats (burl
maple, burl box elder, burl walnut or ambonia). Guides are clear or dark snakes
with matching agate strippers. The cork handles are made from the finest cork
available in cigar or half wells shape (customer choice).
Pricing, Quotes and Deposits
Hand crafted in Pennsylvania, Nonnemacher rods
represent true quality and workmanship and are made with only hand selected and
aged tonkin cane with the best possible components at a fair price. Custom
orders will be on a quote basis. A deposit of $300.00 is required to order your
rod. Rods come with a lifetime warranty on all workmanship and materials for the
original owner. All orders are satisfaction guaranteed.
Delivery Timing
Delivery of rods will take place between 4-8 months
from the date of deposit.
