The Evening Rise™ Guide Services Freshwater and Saltwater Trips
Our guides love fly fishing and enjoy showing others the methods they use to fool stream wise Trout and Bass. The emphasis on our guided trips is you, our client. We want you to have a great time and catch fish. We will schedule trips for one or two anglers per guide for full day trip. All of our guided trips are walk-in-trips. The Evening Rise™ Guides use the finest equipment available by the Winston Rod Company of Twin Bridges Montana, Sage Rod Company of Bainbridge Island, Washington, The Orvis Company of Manchester Vt. and Simms Fishing Products of Bozeman Montana.
Guide Rates 2010
Full Day Trip - 6 hours @ $275 for one, 325.00 for two Half Day Trip - 4 hours @ $225 for one, 275.00 for two Fly Casting Class - 1 hour session @ $50 for one, $80 for two Fly Fishing School - 8 hour session @ $300 for one, $395.00 for two
*Lunch: Plan on bringing your lunch with you on your guide trip. Guide will provide spring water and snacks during your guide trip. Clients will have the option to break for lunch streamside or drive to a local eatery for lunch.
*Transportation: Depending on the destination for your trip, our guide service can provide transportation from the shop to the stream and back for local guide trips that are within a 50 mile radius of Lancaster, PA. Transportation to destinations beyond this radius are available if needed. In this case travel expenses will be applied to the guide service rates. If visiting clients are unable to meet our guides at the store, transportation to and from your hotel is available at an additional fee. Additional transportation fees if applicable, will be applied to your guide fee rate. Your guide for the day will notify you of the additional rate before your guide trip begins.
*Items not included in your guide fee: flies, leaders, equipment rental, lodging, meals, lunch, travel expenses beyond the 50 mile range and gratuities, Gratuities are always appreciated by our guides for a job well done. Normal gratuities range from 10-20% of your guide rate; $25 and above.
Equipment Rentals: Complete outfits are available for rental for our guide trips at the following rates: $25.00 per day; Weekend Rate (Friday pickup, Monday return) $50.00 per outfit. Waders are available for purchase only.
Fishing License: Clients are responsible for having their own PA fishing license. Purchase Online!
Personal Equipment and Waders: Clients are required to bring personal wading equipment such as chest waders, wading belt, wading staff for personal safety. Other required equipment: polarized eyewear, ball cap or hat, fishing vest or pack, rain jacket. Felt soles or studded felt soles on your wading boots are required for safe wading.
Please note: Your guide will do the best job possible to help you hook and land fish. Mother nature sometimes throws us a curve and fish catching can be difficult at times. For this reason we cannot guarantee your success rate on your guide trip. Guides will do their best to show you a good time on your trip. Providing personal service is always our goal.
