BASIC FLY TYING 101

GETTING STARTED

Class Instructor: Steve Silverio

This class is for new and novice students who are tying flies for the first time and or need help with the basics. Students will learn the sound fundamentals of tying your own fishing flies. Basics techniques in tying wet flies, nymphs, streamers and dry flies will be covered. This is a serious "hands on" class and not a show and tell affair. Men, Women and Children (ages 10 and above) are welcome to attend. Class size will be kept to a minimum to ensure plenty of one-on-one instruction. Students who wish to register must do so by pre-paying the class fee at time of registration. This will ensure your seat in class. Our main objective is to have plenty of fun and at the same time, learn essential skills in fly tying. Students will enjoy our class instructor Steve Silverio. Steve humor and magic at the vise will keep your attention for the entire class.

Maximum class size is 6 students.

Class Fee: $150.00 per Student

Class includes the following:

	10.5 Hours of Fly Tying Instruction with Instructor Steve Silverio.
	All Class Tying Materials (For class use only)
	Your Personal Copy of the book "The Benchside Introduction to Fly Tying" by the authors Leeson and Schollemyer ($50 Value)
	The use of the shop fly tying tools and vises during the class.
	Continuous Coffee and Refreshments.

What Students Need to Bring to Class: Bring a notebook and pen for taking notes, personal eyeglasses or special tying eyeglasses for close-up vision of small flies. We carry fly tying eyewear for those who need it. Please ask to see the eyewear before class.

Registration: Full payment in advance is required to reserve. Call the store during store hours at (717)509-3636 and reserve your space with you credit card. Visa, Master Card and Discover Cards Welcome! You may also mail a check for $150.00 to the shop. All reservations are first come first serve. All shop classes and are subject to the stores Policies and Procedures. Please refer to these when registering for a class.
